Joinery is the longest lead item on almost every fit-out programme and the one a main contractor cannot control when it is bought in. MA Group carries it out with its own team — reception counters, wardrobes, kitchens, wall panelling and display units, drawn, cut, assembled and installed by the same people.
Because it is the longest lead item. Shop drawings need approval, materials need ordering, and manufacture cannot start until both are settled. When joinery is bought in from a third party, a late design change becomes a re-tender and a defect becomes an argument between two companies.
Reception and service counters, wardrobes and storage, kitchens and pantries, wall panelling and feature walls, display and retail units, and bespoke items drawn for a single project. Materials run from laminate and veneer through to solid timber, specified from a library the client can choose against.
We do. Shop drawings are produced in-house, which means the drawing that goes to the client for approval is the drawing the fitters work to. Nothing is reinterpreted by a third party between approval and manufacture.
It becomes a site instruction rather than a re-tender. Because the same team draws, makes and installs the item, a change is priced and executed inside one company instead of being renegotiated with a supplier who has already cut material.
Trade enquiries are welcome — send the drawings and the programme and we will price the package. Joinery for other fit-out contractors is handled the same way as our own: approved shop drawings, a fixed programme and installation by our own fitters.
Describe the job and we route it internally — you do not have to work out which of our companies you need. We reply within one working day, in writing.
